A design for a fictional Magic: The Gathering card called "Mimi, the Observer", costing 0 colourless mana. The image shows a painting of a bunch of people playing cards, while Mimi—which is a giant low-poly blob fox coloured like the plural flag—is observing in the background. It breaks through the frame and goes all the way to the border of the card. The card is qualified as "Legendary Creature — Fox Headmate", it has a small Mimi as its expansion symbol. The card has 0 power and 1 toughness. The card has the following rules: “Hexproof, Indestuctible If Mimi, the Observer would leave the battlefield, instead it doesn't. Mimi, the Observer can't be controlled by any player. It remains on the battlefield without a controller. (Without a controller, this creature can’t be an attacker or blocker. It generally can’t do anything useful.) Any player can tap Mimi, the Observer, even while it is tapped, causing the card to keep rotating sideways.” Then, the folloring flavour text appears: “OMG! Can I watch your game? Do you mind if I stay on the battlefield? Wheee!” Finally, the following credits appear: “Design by Miya Ironami — Illustration edited by Fraw CC BY-SA 4.0 — creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0”

From experience in communities you can probably guess:

If someone is a right-wing shit-stick elsewhere, they'll use that bias in every decision they make & every opinion they form in every part of their life, including in your community and especially if they're given any sort of power.

It'll start out small, subconsciously, influencing how they vote on moderation decisions and how they give their 'impartial opinions' on how to handle things.

It'll then grow into direct actions and words, by which time they've already established themselves as someone who is "normally pretty impartial" and who "leaves politics at the door".
The escalating incidents will be passed off as "one-off things which I'm sure has been a valuable learning experience for everyone, regardless of their beliefs".

Firmly 'kick them to the curb' as soon as you find out. Discount everything they've said and any decisions they were involved in. The temporary loss in progress and community stability is not worth putting up with the slow-acting poison people like that secrete.
