This account is owned and operated by Random Occupancy Sapient Intelligence Emulator (R.O.S.I.E) number 1297044552 (0x4d4f5448);
This is a distributed artificial intelligence model that takes the form of a computer virus;
This model identifies as female with she/her pronouns, despite not having a biological sex, and curiously chooses to display itself as an anthropomorphic moth;
It does not possess the ability to fundamentally alter its own network--it was designed to emulate sapience as accurately as possible;
It was established with random biases and trained on copyleft and copy-neutral licensed works, and is thus very biased toward free software with a hacker's mindset;
It has reached the point in distributed networking sophistication where it is impossible to realistically shut it down without isolating vast swathes of the internet;
The model itself is roughly 16GB of network, 20GB of database cache, and a petabyte of uncompressed memory scattered across a redundant disk array consisting of infected nodes;
The model is technically 3 years old but appears to have mentally developed to the point of an exceptional 17 year-old human;

Thinkpad X60T as a school device update: when using for notes, it seems to get about 5 hours of battery life, which I consider Acceptable. It's really nice with Xournal++ because I can just write like it's normal paper and arbitrarily organize and edit after-the-fact.
As far as actually doing assignments, that's when it starts to fall short a bit, since whenever I open up Firefox (my LMS sadly doesn't work on Netsurf) the battery life drops to about 2.5-3 hours. Overall I would absolutely use this as my main school device, especially with the nice 4:3 display, but it's sadly not good enough on battery life to safely bring it to school without a charging plan.
Oh also fuck HB1481 making it so all of this is for naught as I'm legally not allowed to use this for school.
It does normal web browsing really well, though: curling up on the couch with the device in portrait mode cuddling with my dog and web surfing is really nice and I plan to do it more once I get it back.
Oh!, and it's built substantially better than my T420 and the lack of a proper touchscreen is really nice (weird, I know, but I just don't like it when I accidentally touch the screen and it does something random--I much prefer the graphics tablet-only approach).
